Veysel Tezel joins Amba Defence to head a Designated Support...

Amba Defence Ltd, a leading provider of security and defence technology and consultancy to high level end-users, today announced the appointment of Veysel Tezel to lead a sales and support team based in Turkey.
Amba has extensive experience of deploying and embedding security and defence capability for huge range of sovereign and commercial clients. These include tourist centres, critical infrastructure and national borders. Our technology includes the market leading Manta Under Vehicle Scanner, Ultra Long Range Video Surveillance Cameras and Personal Protective Equipment. Our technology is backed by 24/7 support and monitoring from our National Security Inspectorate (NSI) GOLD Category II status Asset Monitoring Centre.
The new arm of Amba’s operations in Ankara will streamline exchanges between UK-based defence consultants, engineering and service centres with a key route to Middle Eastern, North African and Asian markets. Geopolitically, Turkey finds itself on the front line of the US led campaign against ISIS in Syria, the associated migrant crisis, and amid renewed conflict with militants linked to the PKK.
Shires Crichton, CEO at Amba Defence comments:
”Veysel’s appointment is a significant step in increasing Amba’s presence in Turkey and throughout the region. Time-to-market pressure has dramatically increased for security projects across the globe. Veysel and his team will become a key Amba Technology service centre providing rapid and expert services into the region in support of a number of successful Manta Under Vehicle Inspection projects.”

Veysel is a UK educated economist and an expert in the Turkish finance market, where he has previously developed successful relationships between UK and Turkish companies. Veysel can be reached at or via our 24/7 control room on +44 1299 251499.
