Amba Defence Control this week retained our National Security Inspectorate (NSI) GOLD Category II status, demonstrating our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) undergoes regular external 12 month inspections from the NSI, with a full recertification audit every 3 years.
The 3-year audit takes two inspectors a full day to complete. The inspectors analyse everything from the construction of the building, staffing, quality assurance and response times to IT infrastructure and software set-up.
Amba Defence Control’s Alarm Receiving Centre
Amba’s ARC facility is a completely self-contained, high-security environment protected by steel lined walls, back-up power, dedicated air supply & airlock doors. We have invested in creating a state-of-the-art facility supported by the most efficient, market-leading software to deliver robust, real-time monitoring services for our clients – while significantly reducing their security operational costs.
We operate an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System, are SafeContractor approved and SSAIB members. All our ARC operators are subject to enhanced vetting, fully trained in-house and SIA front line CCTV licensed.
NSI GOLD Category II Status
NSI Gold Category II status enables Amba to continue providing direct police and fire responses using the URN system. Our clients can rest assured knowing they are receiving a quality service that is externally verified and audited against strict British and European Standards.
