Hogan joined Midven in 2023, after a few years experience in corporate finance at Hazlewoods and as a business consultant for an early-stage tech company. He works primarily as an investment associate to support the West Midlands Co-Investment Fund. However, Hogan also assists with the running of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund. 

He holds a first-class degree in business studies with finance from Bournemouth University. Prior to this, he founded a business with six other individuals at his college, which went on to win both national and European awards. He also has experience in advising Web3 companies on both their tokenomics and general business strategy.
