LumeJet selected as one of the most promising digital companies in Britain
Midlands-based disruptive inkless printing and patterning technology business to present at No.10 Downing Street.
Coventry – LumeJet has been selected as one* of the most promising digital companies in the UK and has been invited to showcase its technology at No.10 Downing Street on Thursday (31st July 2014). The list of 10 presenting companies was selected by an independent panel of advisors representing Britain’s digital sector.
Commenting on the announcement, Paul Anson LumeJet’s CEO said; “It is fantastic to be selected as part of a group of fast growing and successful British digital technology companies. The growing success of high tech manufacturing in the UK is a testament to a variety of supportive government schemes such as TSB Smart Awards for R&D funding and the Enterprise Investment Scheme that encourages angel investment.”
He continued, “It is worth noting that LumeJet is one of only two hardware producing companies out of the group, something of a reflection on how hard it is to finance hardware start-up businesses. We believe our company is a great showcase for what can be achieved with supportive investors with a passion for growing UK high-tech manufacturing – generating deep and defensible, IP rich technology for the global market.”
The Pitch 10 event will be hosted at No 10 Downing Street to highlight the impact and success emerging from the digital sector in the UK. The Prime Minister has made it clear that he is ‘determined’ to make the UK the best place in the world to start and grow a company. This event will showcase the strength of Digital Britain and for LumeJet is a great opportunity to share news of recent commercial successes and exciting product developments with FTSE 100 CEOs.
