A series of briefing events will be taking place between 26th February and 20th March 2018 to showcase investment opportunities available through the new £250m Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF). The British Business Bank and the Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) will be coming together to brief business advisors and the local business community about the new funding opportunities available, its potential uses and how businesses can apply to receive the fund.
The events will be taking place at each of the 10 Local Enterprise Partnership areas within the MEIF region.
Leading venture firm Midven has been appointed to manage the £35 million West Midlands equity finance portion of the MEIF. Midven will invest all of the funds into high-growth businesses across the West Midlands over the next five years.
